When I'm not sketching and drawing, I enjoy swimming and hiking. Many of my pieces are directly influenced by the animals I encounter on farms and at my cottage in the Haliburton Highlands. I love recreating animals and wildlife in my work.
When I was in elementary school, my favourite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded. I am currently in Grade 12 and hope to attend a post secondary art school next year.
I love a variety of mediums, however I specialize in creating art out of recycled sheet metal. I use different sized nails to hammer intricate patterns to form various types of wildlife. I also love the simplicity of black ink against a light background but drawn with creative detail.
